I don't want to leave Rimac...

Well hello to all.

Have I ever told you that Rimac is crazy?

I won’t tell you all of the why now

I’ve got to save some things for later, right?

This week was pretty rough.

A lot of things happened that were pretty discouraging.

It felt like an eternity and a heartbeat all in one.

It’s crazy how much can happen in the space of one day.

Some highlights of the week:

A. to serve a mission

He had a really rough week.

Really rough....

But is in the process of changing some things

and has decided to serve a mission.

I hope everything goes well.

He was very excited to tell us that he’s at the end of Ether.

But when he told us I thought Enos, and I was like, “Oh cool.”

But then halfway through the lesson it clicked and I freaked

ETHER!

In one week!

Other things:

J. was doing really, really, really well.

But it was too good to be true...

I don’t want to talk about that...

Some of the most sacred moments of my mission have had to do with rejection and dropping investigators or being dropped by investigators and things of the like.

Those are the moments when your heart breaks for the people you love and you get to feel just a fraction of what Heavenly Father feels for us.

It must be so hard...

Agency.

It’s a true test.

I don’t know what else to write...

It’s been a good week.

I’m happy.

I haven’t written in my journal this whole transfer and that’s why I can’t remember anything lately,

it’s my goal though.

Thanks for all your prayers.

I love you all.

Have a happy week.

Say your prayers.

Love,

One of my favorite families of my mission. They are such good people. R. was baptized in February. The parents are in the process of divorce and marriage before they can get baptized.

If i could i would pay it for them. They have such a strong testimony and are more active than the majority of the members. I really admire them.

Rimac missionaries

Look what we found! World's greatest photo. We are very proud of these. :) Partially because it's really cool and partially because nobody killed us in the process which is saying something for Rimac.

i am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, preaching the gospel and bring others to Christ. i am serving in the Peru Lima Central Mission. these are my stories!
