Sorry
Hey so this one is going to be shorter than the usual. Some of you I am sure will be happy, but sorry Mom and Dad. This week’s been a little crazy. I’ll try my best to at least give the highlight of each day.
MONDAY: We went to the zoo as a district. We lost the keys to our house.
TUESDAY: Nobody was home. Had a nice lesson with Hna V. Learned a lot.
WEDNESDAY: Had a lesson with F. It was a disaster. She told us she had been praying to Jose Smith.
THURSDAY: Had a really nice lesson with E. Ate pizza and macaroni and cheese. Then everything went downhill. Had a minor mental breakdown. Had a lesson with L. Someone had been feeding her anti-Mormon foolishness. But then she said Jesus Christ wasn’t perfect and that was where I was like woah. Say what you’d like about me but that’s my Savior you’re talking about.
FRIDAY: We found out that Hna Owen’s grandpa had passed away. That was a little rough. Mondongo for lunch. That was not helpful.
SATURDAY: Not much special happened. Ate strawberry tres leche. Who knew?
SUNDAY: Lunchazo. One of the very few times when I physically could not finish my lunch. Had a FHE with my Peruvian family, Familia M. T. tried to heal my knee. She had to come home early from her mission for her knee so she’s worried about me. Had dinnerazo. Got licked by a Peruvian Inca dog.
Did you know that cuy have something of magical powers? If you pet it all over for like 2 minutes it will die. They say it absorbs all your negative energy. So if you’re sick or something you pet a cuy and it can heal you. But it dies. And so your energy doesn’t go to waste, you eat it. The Incans are ingenious.
This week has been kind of strange.
The end of another cambio [transfer]. Woah. Feels like just yesterday I was freaking out about training.
Anywho. I love you guys. Take care.
Love,
Hermana Anderson
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” -Philippians 4:13 #ponderize
I think that pretty much speaks for itself. That’s what I’ve learned. That as long as I am faithful, diligent and obedient, the Lord will use me to accomplish the things that HE would have me do. Not necessarily what I think should be done.
