Hit the ground running!

my flight was delayed an hour, which made for an extremely close connection in atlanta. but of course then my flight to lima was delayed an hour as well! tender mercies!

we landed in lima at about 12:30. central time

then an hour to load. hour to the mtc.

when i finally laid in my bed at 3:30, which felt like 4:30, i was exhausted.

the first thing i noticed when we walked outside is lima smells like sweaty fish and old fruit. i love it!

my companion is sister scarlett from charlotte, north carolina! i met her on instagram. were going to the same mission!

im trying not to think too much. last night was kinda hard. but i just gotta stay focused. i know it will get easier!

today were just doing mostly orientation stuff. so im excited to see what the future brings!

im alive and well!
